Some crazy developers have created a version of the Android operating system which is compatible with Nokia’s Internet tablets and devices. The Project is Called NITDroid, the developers have created a compatible version of the Android operating system for Nokia’s internet tablets. The result is a device that has the body of Nokia and the brains of Android.
“Nokia’s hardware is fantastic but their software is suboptimal, slow, buggy and not always the best user experience,” says Terrence Eden, a U.K.-based mobile consultant who installed Android 1.6 “Donut” on his Nokia N810. “Android is a much better software environment for Nokia hardware than what Nokia provides.”
For those who are willing to take the risk, Eden has written a step-by-step guide on his blog for getting Android on the N810.

Microsoft has started to sent out invitations for the launch of Internet Explorer 9 Beta on September 15 in San Francisco. The previews released for IE9 till now lacked the main features like bookmarks, search and history. The beta launch in September is expected to include the major features and other new features including the ones already included in the previews.
Speed and Standard
IE9 will focus on speed and standard as HTML5, CSS3 and many other new things are being introduced to make internet browsing experience better than before.
IE9 will also have:
# Psychedelic Browsing
# Hamster Dance Revolution
# SVG Dice
# IETrade
# Enhanced DOM Capabilities
IE9 will make use of GPU acceleration for HTML5 graphics. IE9 will also incorporate CSS3 features. Microsoft has implemented Chakra JavaScript engine directly into the browser rather than as a separated engine accessed via DOM.
User Interface
Speculations about the user interface have surfaced the internet, suggesting a Chrome like tabs-on-top interface, or the ribbon-like interface used in Microsoft Office. Another suggestion says that IE9 will have the Zune/Windows Phone 7 “Metro” look. Microsoft has been very tight lipped about the details of the user interface.
Anyway, we have to wait for Sep 15 for a detailed review, hope you will be here with me
